BEFORE YOU START

Save a clockwise quarter-turn to every page. Check whether all pages need the same change before starting.

Check the orientation

Open the original and see whether every page needs the same rotation. Our tool turns all pages 90 degrees clockwise, so mixed orientations need an editor with individual page controls.

Rotate and download

Choose one PDF up to 50 MB in Rotate PDF. Start processing and download the result. The rotation is saved in the output document rather than only changing your viewer.

Keep the original

Review the downloaded file in a PDF viewer. If another quarter-turn is needed, process the result again. Keep the original until every page is correctly oriented.

Rotate PDF pages without changing the page contents

PDF rotate changes page orientation. It is different from crop PDF, which changes the visible page area, and from resize PDF, which can refer to changing page dimensions. Rotating a page does not reduce its file size in a predictable way.

When whole-document rotation is appropriate

You can rotate PDF online here when every page needs the same clockwise turn. To organize PDF pages with mixed orientations, choose an editor with individual page controls. Our tool does not include page selection or page reordering.

A practical example

A landscape scan that appears sideways may need one 90-degree turn. If only one page in a larger file is sideways, this whole-document tool is not the right fit.

Check your result

Open the downloaded file in a viewer. Confirm the orientation was saved rather than only changed temporarily on screen.
