A complete workflow for collecting certificates, ordering pages and checking the final submission.
Start with the portal requirements, then collect, order and verify the exact PDF you intend to submit.
Read the receiving portal’s instructions
Write down the required file type, maximum size and document order before preparing anything. Check whether the portal expects one combined file or separate attachments. Keep originals in a separate folder.
Convert only the image documents
If certificates are photographs, straighten and crop them first, then use JPG to PDF to create PDF copies. Preview each output and confirm that names, stamps and document edges remain readable. Leave existing PDF files in their original format.
Assemble the packet in the requested sequence
Put your PDF copies in the required order and select them in Merge PDF. The merged result follows the selected file order. Clear the selection and choose again if necessary; our tool does not provide drag-and-drop reordering.
Inspect the exact file you will submit
Open the downloaded packet and check page count, orientation and legibility. Compare its size with the portal limit. If it is too large, use a separate compression workflow, then check the result again. Save the submission confirmation after uploading.
Prepare source documents before conversion
When you can edit the source, convert Word to PDF after checking margins and page breaks. For spreadsheet attachments, convert Excel to PDF only after checking the print area. A DOC to PDF or XLSX to PDF export can otherwise include blank pages or clipped columns.
Keep application PDFs readable and accessible
A PDF reader can help you inspect the final attachment. A PDF form filler may be needed for interactive fields; it is different from adding a text annotation. Our browser tools combine, rotate or convert images, but do not fill forms or validate a submission for you.
A practical example
If a portal asks for ID, qualifications and a signed form in that order, prepare a short page map before merging. Use that map to review the output from beginning to end.
Check your result
Confirm the required file size, number of attachments and accepted format on the receiving portal.
