From scanned certificates to phone photos, make one neatly packaged PDF.
Create one PDF with a separate A4 page for each image. Image clarity still depends on the original photo.
Choose clear images
Use JPG or PNG images with legible text. Crop distracting backgrounds and correct sideways photos before converting. Avoid sharing sensitive information that the recipient does not need.
Create your PDF
Choose your images in the JPG to PDF tool. Each image is centered on its own A4 page without stretching. The tool supports up to 20 images and creates a downloadable PDF in your browser.
Check the finished pages
Zoom into the smallest text and check that nothing is cut off. Converting an image to PDF does not make its text searchable; that requires a separate OCR process.
JPG to PDF, JPEG to PDF and PNG to PDF
JPG and JPEG refer to the same image format. Our JPG to PDF converter also accepts PNG, so PNG to PDF follows the same steps. An image to PDF converter places a picture on a document page; it does not automatically recognize the words inside the picture.
Choose between a photo to PDF workflow and OCR
To convert JPG to PDF or convert image to PDF, start with a clear image. A photo to PDF converter is useful for preserving the visible page. If you need image to text conversion or JPG to Word, you need OCR and a separate text-editing workflow.
A practical example
For a two-sided certificate, select the front image first and the reverse image second. The PDF should contain two pages, with neither edge of the certificate cropped.
Check your result
Zoom in on names, dates and small print. A PDF container cannot restore detail that was missing from the photo.
