Collect, clean up and package receipt images into a readable archive.

BEFORE YOU START

Organize readable receipt images, convert them in order and inspect the monthly archive before storing it.

Collect one month of photos

Copy the required receipt images into a working folder. Sort them by purchase date and give them short numbered filenames. Keep the original photos elsewhere so you can redo an edit if needed.

Clean up each receipt image

Crop the background, correct the orientation and check that the total, date and merchant name are readable. Export supported JPG or PNG copies. Our converter accepts these two formats; HEIC photos must be converted first.

Create batches within the tool limits

Select up to 20 images in the intended order, staying under 50 MB per image and 150 MB total. Use JPG to PDF to create an A4 PDF with one image per page. Create additional batches if necessary, then combine the PDFs using Merge PDF.

Review and name the archive

Open every output page and zoom in on faint totals. Use a month-based filename and store the PDF where it can be found later. This workflow packages images; it does not categorize transactions, extract amounts or create searchable receipt text.

Merge JPG images into pages rather than one long picture

People searching merge JPG or JPG merge may want either a single image or a multipage document. To merge JPG to PDF, keep each receipt on its own page. Our converter creates a PDF; it does not stitch the photos into one JPG image.

Convert other image formats before uploading

HEIC to PDF, WebP to PDF, TIFF to PDF and BMP to PDF require support for those source formats. This converter accepts JPG and PNG only. Convert unsupported images first, then check that small receipt text remains readable before creating your archive.

A practical example

Number receipt photos by date before selecting them. For more than 20 images, create smaller PDF batches and combine the resulting files afterward.

Check your result

Check faint totals and long receipts at a readable zoom. Converting the photo does not recover faded text.
